Often drawing on memory and emotion, Crystal Tursich creates diaristic photographs that hover between staged self-portraits and constructed moments. As her work is deeply personal, she has illustrated her struggles with loss and infertility and is now creating images related to her own experiences with new motherhood.
Crystal Tursich is an artist and educator based in Columbus, Ohio where she serves as Fine Arts Department Chair and Upper School Art Teacher at Columbus Academy. She holds an MFA from Columbus College of Art & Design and a BFA from Adrian College.
